Brittney Griner was selected with the first pick by the Phoenix Mercury on Monday in the WNBA draft. Griner is the second all-time leading scorer in the women’s NCAA history, with 3,283 points during her time with Baylor. Chicago selected former Delaware standout Elena Delle Donne and Tusla selected Notre Dame star Skylar Diggins.
